Perfect with Warm cup of tea or coffee

Alsi, the Urdu term for flax seeds or linseeds, is used to make a traditional sweet called Alsi Pini. We also sell alsi pini under our banner, which is typically eaten during the winter month. It is dark brown in color and is shaped round like a laddoo hence it is also called alsi laddoo in some regions. Its nutritional benefits are numerous and we make several batches during the winter because of the high demand. You can buy this sweet from us, and store it in an airtight container for a long time. Not only does it keep the cold at bay, but also helps with the pain of arthritis. It also has high values of Omega-3 and Omega-6, both of which increase body strength.
Our family has been making alsi pini for a long time because of its health benefits, and we make them the same way to sell it to our customers. Alsi is ground and roasted, and is cooked along with chopped nuts, roasted flour. The mixture is allowed to come to room temperature before we roll it out by hand, adding a personal element to the technique. People like to buy enough alsi pini that would ideally last them for a month, and they eat it every day in winter, with a warm cup of tea or coffee.
The process of preparing this sweet at home can be exhausting. So fortunately, you don’t have to do it yourself anymore. You can visit our shop and keep your traditional winter foods such as alsi pini and panjiri in stock. We also do catering services for large quantities of sweets, and shall be glad to customize your order should the need for it arise. We are the only makers of Indian and Pakistani sweetmeats in the Ontario area, who make them the conventional way.
